Philippe Ghanem | Co-Founder & Board Chairman
Philippe Ghanem is a proven innovator and visionary in global finance. Over his 25 year career he has founded and built businesses across multiple markets, geographies and regulatory regimes.
His recent career highlights include:
- He is Co-Founder and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kleon Financial Holdings, having established the firm in 2024 with the acquisition of a respected NYSE broking and trading business and a FINRA broker dealer license.
- Philippe is also the founder and CEO of SquaredFinancial, a multi-asset brokerage firm which he first set up in 2005. SquaredFinancial serves retail and institutional clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia through its advanced trading platforms and integrated risk and compliance infrastructure.
- Previously he was the founder and CEO of ADS Securities (now ADSS), one of the largest independent trading and investment firms in the MENA region from 2010 until 2019.
- Whilst in Abu Dhabi he worked in collaboration with UAE regulatory authorities and international legal consultants playing a central role in the advisory group that supported the creation of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) which launched in 2013.
Philippe is frequently sought for comment and insight in the world of trading and FinTech. He has been the guest speaker at numerous industry events, including the Forbes Global CEO Conference, and is a regular Guest Host on CNBC’s Squawk Box.
A Swiss National, he is married with four children. He resides in the United States.
Jermaine C. Harmon | Co-Founder & Board Member
Jermaine C. Harmon is a distinguished executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience at the forefront of financial services. Renowned for his strategic leadership in capital markets, fintech innovation, and transformative acquisitions, he has built and advised firms that bridge the gap between traditional finance and cutting-edge technologies.
His recent career highlights include:
- He is Co-Founder and sits on the Board of Directors of Kleon Financial Holdings, a financial services holding company he helped establish in 2024. The firm’s inaugural transactions included the acquisition of a FINRA-licensed broker-dealer and a prestigious floor broker membership on the New York Stock Exchange, creating the foundation of its trading and execution business. In addition, Mr. Harmon also leads Kleon Financial Technologies, another Kleon portfolio company and the FinTech arm that powers technology and innovation across the entire Kleon Enterprise.
- Mr. Harmon is also a Partner and the Head of Global Markets & Technology at TrustChains, an advisory, technology and consulting firm bridging the gap between traditional finance and the world of Blockchain technology.
- Previously he was the CEO of Alpari US, at the time, one of the world’s largest Retail Foreign Exchange Brokers and as an executive at Atlas FinTech he was instrumental in the creation of a DeNovo bank in Latin America focused on Institutional Clearing and Settlement.
- Mr. Harmon is also involved in multiple entrepreneurial ventures, each unified by a common thread: leveraging innovative technology to drive value creation and industry transformation.
